Full interior renovation of a lakeside residence, taken on after the original contractor left the job.

Open-plan living room and kitchen after renovation, with white oak cabinetry, a stone-topped island and full-height glazing to the trees beyond.

We were brought in partway through, which meant the first two weeks were spent documenting what had actually been built against what had been drawn.

Once the discrepancies were priced and agreed with the owners, the remaining work ran to a fixed schedule: framing corrections, mechanical rough-in, then finishes.

Interior timber framing part-way through the renovation, with new stud walls and door openings set out and the drawings taped to a partition.
