A screened porch and primary-suite addition tied into the existing roofline without touching the original footprint.
The brief was to add a primary suite and a screened porch without the addition reading as an addition.
The new roof planes pick up the existing pitch and the siding course lines were held through, so from the drive the house looks as though it was always this size.
